We initially seek to understand your instructions and set out the objectives that we will seek to achieve with you. Throughout your matter, we will advise you strategically how to tackle the issues that arise and advise you on the range of options, continually reassessing while working with you to reach an outcome that achieves your objectives.
We can advise on all HR matters, grievances regarding all aspects of employment law, disputes at work amongst employees or partners, team moves, breach of contract, breach of restrictive covenants, discrimination arising from the nine protected characteristics under the Equality Act, redundancy advice, complex cases involving commercially-sensitive situations.
While we are confident and adept in handling tribunal litigation, our focus is on achieving your objectives. This may simply be finding a resolution and helping the parties reach an outcome by way of mediation or settlement.
We believe the prevention of disputes is far better than facing disputes and a clear, up-to-date set of employment contracts and policies is essential for any business to clarify the employee or worker’s role.
Clear contracts and policies are the foundation of governance in the workplace and should be fair, ensuring compliance with the law. They should be a user friendly working manual for managers, supervisors and staff to reference; enhancing the smooth operation of the business.
Good contracts and policies form the foundational principles of the relationship between the employer and employee and can prevent disputes from arising in the first place. The contract terms and policies should reflect the way the parties work together.
We can help you create these or update them as the employees’ roles, the business, and the law changes. We can assist you with drafting, updating, or amending your employment contract terms and policies at a FIXED cost
We can provide training on any topic to your HR leads or staff.
